August 14, 1971 — April 16, 2024
Eric Wade died the evening of April 16, 2024 in Spring Hill Florida. He passed away peacefully and quickly while listening to Brokedown Palace by the Grateful Dead. Eric was born August 14, 1971 in Glens Falls New York, graduated from Niskayuna High School and earned his Associates Degree from Hillsborough Community College in Florida.
Eric was a man that people respected, loved and enjoyed. He worked as an Installation Technician for Qmatic for many years before going into business for himself. His fellow employees knew him to be extremely knowledgeable at his craft.Becoming a person that his company and peers could rely on and trust to get the job done quickly and right. In his spare time Eric did whatever he could to enjoy life every day; including: golfing, fishing, skiing, concerts, gardening, hiking, skydiving, scuba diving, riding his motorcycles, playing hockey, youth baseball coach, varsity football team photographer and loving father. Eric traveled greatly throughout his life and while doing so, made lifelong friends everywhere he went; who he always greeted with a warm smile, love and a helping hand.
Eric is predeceased by his mother Deborah (Mintz) Wade and his grandparents David and MarjorieMintz. He leaves behind a father, Bruce Wade, two sons, Cole and Dillon Wade; along with many aunts, uncles and cousins. Family was extremely important to Eric. He never failed to make sure his sons knew how proud he was of them and how much he loved them. He was there for every sports game, graduation, broken heart(& bone);as well as, the mischief & chaos.
The world needs more people like Eric.Although, he can’t be here physically to pick us up anymore, we all could learn one final lesson from him…. Live your life with love instead of hate.
Rest in Peace Dad, you will forever be in our hearts.
Viewing hours for Eric will be 11AM to 1PM, Saturday, April 27th at Rossi & Ditoro Funeral Home. Followed by procession to Vale Cemetery for grave side services.
