SCHENECTADY – Elon James Serekede, 4-month-old son of Aloysius and Roman (Getachew)Serekede was called home to God, suddenly on Saturday, November 13, 2021, at Ellis Hospital.
Elon was born on June 25, 2021, at Albany Medical Center.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his siblings, Aron, Elna, and Jacob Serekede.
Services will be held today at St. George Orthodox Church, 1 St. George’s Place, Albany, NY 12202 at 12 noon.
Relatives and friends are invited and may call at St. George Orthodox Church today from 11 AM until the service.
Interment will be in Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery.
