Elizabeth F. Grandy

SCHENECTADY – Elizabeth F. Grandy, 91, entered into eternal peace at home on Friday, June 8, 2018, surrounded by her loving family.
Elizabeth was born on May 16, 1927 in Keeseville, NY a daughter of the late John and Bertha (Le Claire) Trombley. She was a 1945 graduate of Nott Terrace High School. Elizabeth was employed as an office manager at KAPL, and later for Seth Drugs, Don’s Coin Laundry, Price Chopper and Brad Cable Electronics. She spent some time living in St. Croix, Vermont and Scotia. She was an extremely proud and strong woman who was devoted to her family.
Elizabeth was predeceased by her siblings, Sylvia Beebe and Sr. Annette Trombley.
She is survived by her devoted and loving sons, Garry Grandy, of Schenectady, Michael (Diana) Grandy, of Scotia, Timothy (Maria) Grandy, of Schenectady and Christopher (Michelle) Grandy, of Scotia; eighteen grandchildren and forty-one great-grandchildren.
Services will be held on Wednesday at 7 pm at the Rossi & Ditoro Funeral Home, 501 Union St., with Fr. Richard A. Carlino, officiating. Interment will be held on Thursday in Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery.
Relatives and friends are invited and my call at the Rossi & Ditoro Funeral Home on Wednesday from 5 pm until the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Elizabeth's memory to the American Cancer Society at cancer.org
