Eleanor L. Urban "Nanny"

SCHENECTADY – Eleanor L. Urban, 82, entered into eternal peace on Thursday at Ellis Hospital after a brief illness, surrounded by the love of her family.
Eleanor was born in Berne, and resided in Schenectady for most of her life. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother, she cherished her family and the time she was able to spend with them. She was an avid bingo player and enjoyed her visits to the casino.
Eleanor was predeceased by her husband Paul Urban.
She is survived by her loving daughters, Barbara Caracciolo and her husband Joseph and Mary Martin and her husband David, all of Schenectady, four adoring grandchildren; Tiffany Johnson, Jason Martin, Crystal Caracciolo and Joseph Caracciolo; three great-grandsons, Justyn, Aaron and Jordan Washington; a brother-in-law, Robert Urban and many dear friends at her community home, the Ten Eyck.
Relatives and friends are invited and may call at the Rossi & Ditoro Funeral Home, Union at N. Jay Streets, on Sunday from 2 to 4 pm.
