INDIAN HARBOUR BEACH, FL - Doris (Latorra) Lucarelli died peacefully on January 9th with her son Joseph and daughter in law, Anne by her side at Holmes Regional Center in Melbourne, FL.
Doris was the daughter of Gaetano and Philomena Bacchi. She was a graduate of Nott Terrace High School and was employed by the General Electric Company for many years. She was a communicant of St. Anthony's Catholic Church and active in a variety of Church and Elementary School activities before moving to Florida where she was a communicant of Holy Name of Jesus in Indialantic Fl. Doris focused her attention and love on her family.
Doris was an excellent Italian cook, and many of her recipes have been passed on to the family to be enjoyed for years to come.
Doris was an avid reader, loved to play cards and watching movies with her grandchildren, knitting and enjoying all the family dogs.
Doris was predeceased in death by the love of her life, Louis R Latorra in 1978, sister, Mary Visco, brothers Louis and Edward Bacchi.
Doris is survived by her sons, Louis (Darlene) of Syracuse, NY and Hilton Head Island, SC, Joseph (Anne) of Indian Harbour Beach, FL, Grandsons Christopher (Erin), David, Shawn (Kristy) and Jamie Latorra, four great grandchildren, loving sister Janet Lake, brother Michael (Rose) Bacchi and several nieces and nephews

Services will be held on Monday at 11am at the Rossi & Ditoro Funeral Home, 501 Union St., and then to St.
