SCHENECTADY – Donald R. Kranick, 69, passed away on Monday at Ellis Hospital after a short illness.
Donald was born and educated in Schenectady. He was a tradesman in construction and painting fields.
He was predeceased by his parents and his brother George Kranick.
Don was loved very much by his family, he is survived by his beloved wife, Darla Phillips Kranick; loving children, Paul and Lisa Kranick, of Schenectady, Kimberly Schaffer, of Scotia and Christine and Patrick Moran, of Richmond VA; his loving step-children, Michele and Cary Solayna, of Wynantskill and Michael Winchip, of Schenectady; eight grandchildren; a brother, Robert and Dawn Kranick, of Saratoga Lake; several nieces and nephews.
No services are planned.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
