SCHENECTADY – Dolores L. Lasak, 80, of Wyoming Avenue entered into eternal peace on Wednesday evening.
Dolores was born in Schenectady, the daughter of the late Edward and Freda Bejgrowicz Kluth. She attended Schenectady schools and was a 1947 graduate of the former Mt. Pleasant High School. Dolores worked as a secretary for the General Electric Company. She was a homemaker, a loving and caring wife, mother and grandmother. Dolores was a devoted communicant of St. John the Evangelist Church and a former member of the Rosary Society.
She is predeceased by her beloved husband Rudolph Lasak whom she married August 1, 1948 and he died July 3, 1993.
Survivors include her loving children, Susan Lamont and her husband Bill of Mechanicville, Juli Boyarin and her husband Paul of Glenville and Jeffrey Lasak and his wife Cheryl of Plainville, NY; adoring grandchildren, Brian Boyarin, Sean Lasak and Jeremy Lasak; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Services will be held Saturday morning at 8 am from the Rossi & Ditoro Funeral Home, Union at N. Jay Streets, and then to St. John the Evangelist Church, Union Street, where a mass will be celebrated at 9 am. Interment will follow in Sts. Cyril & Method Cemetery, Rotterdam.
Relatives and friends are invited and may call at the Rossi & Ditoro Funeral Home Friday from 3 to 5 pm.
