Dolores Carroll, age 90, passed away peacefully on January 19th at Ellis Hospital. Dolores's life was marked by her dedication to her family and her service to the community. She worked as a nurse in area hospitals early on, a role she cherished and excelled in until she retired due to poor health. After that, she taught catechism and sang in the church choir. She married the love of her life, Francis Carroll, in 1953, and they were together until his death in 2012. She was also predeceased by her son Mark Carroll, three sisters, and two brothers. She leaves behind a daughter, Debra Hulett, daughter-in-law Ann Carroll, grandchildren Jessica Hulett (Evan Dashevsky), Desiree Mather (Brian), and Joshua Carroll (Mariann), great-grandchildren Colter, Shea, Lachlan, and Lili, and several nieces and nephews. A service in her honor will be held at a later date. The family would like to thank the nurses and staff at Ellis Hospital for their compassionate care of Dolores in her final days.
