David Bianchi Sr.

SCHENECTADY - David Bianchi Sr., 57, passed away on October 12, 2021.
David was born on December 13, 1963, to the late Roman and Cecelia Bianchi. During his lifetime David worked as an electrician, plumber and landlord. He was a big animal lover. Through time he had Dobermans and Great Danes named Leggs and Jake. He rescued a Dachshund who he named Moo Moo; had Cats, an Indian Ringneck Parrot, and a Goat.
He loved spending his birthdays in Atlantic City and was also a phenomenal online chess player, which he spent many hours competing in online tournaments.
David was proud of his family roots on Barrett Street. He spent a lot of time on Barrett Street as a child and as an adult. He was specifically fond of his Grandmother’s former restaurant Mama Bianchi’s. He established many friends and acquaintances during his lifetime and was loved by many.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brothers Daniel and James.
He is survived by his three sons, Daniel, Nicholas, and David Jr., and his sister Anne Britton. He is also survived by several cousins.
Services will be held on Saturday, November 27th at 10 am at the Rossi & Ditoro Funeral Home, 501 Union Street, with Fr. John Califano, officiating. Interment will follow in St. John the Baptist Cemetery.
Relatives and friends are invited and may call at the Rossi & Ditoro Funeral Home, on Saturday from 9:00 to 10:00 AM.
