Columbus, Ohio - David J. Pasquariello, entered the arms of his Lord on the day before his 67th birthday at Mount Carmel St Ann’s Hospital in Columbus, Ohio after a 7-month struggle with failing health.
David was born in Schenectady on February 28, 1956; he graduated from Mont Pleasant High School Class of 1974; and Siena College where he obtained a Bachelor’s Degree and worked for Senator Farley; after graduating from Siena he went to Ohio State where he obtained his MBA. David worked for the City of Columbus where he was a City Planner, retiring after 39 1/2 years. David worked alongside his longtime friend and coworker- Jeff. He certainly loved Ohio State football, and when they were playing he could not be interrupted as his enthusiasm towards the buckeyes ran deep. Dave also had a great love for his alma mater Siena College where in his retirement he volunteered for them. On holidays he could also be found serving meals to those less fortunate when he did not travel home to be with family.
The family would like to thank the many staff members who helped care for David over the last 7 months. To Janessa and Ann for their care, attention, and kindness. To the many nurses and doctors at St Ann's who fought for David and advocated for his needs. To Lisa, his nurse advocate who worked tirelessly to assist us in getting David home. Lastly, to the staff at the Teresian House- who truly went above and beyond to help us. Pam, Melissa, Sheila, and Mike we cannot thank you enough.
