GLENVILLE – David J. McNulty, Sr., 83, entered into eternal peace on Tuesday, June 28th at home surrounded by his beloved family.
David was born in Plymouth, NY, a son of James and Eva Sherman McNulty. He was educated locally and located to Schoharie as a young boy and to Schenectady as a teenager, where he met his future bride in 1958. David was a self–taught master mason and tile setter and a perfectionist in his trade. He worked with his son Ronny at Executive Tile in Niskayuna, retiring after many years at the age of 75. David was an avid hunter, spending many outings hunting pheasants in Norwich with his son David, brother, Lyle, and their dog ‘Dino’. He is a communicant of St. Kateri Tekakwitha Church.
David was predeceased by his loving son, Robert McNulty, siblings, Lyle McNulty, Robert Palmer, Charles McNulty, Sr., Walter McNulty, Gladys Vass, Donna Woodbeck, Margaret Keilfer, and baby brother, Russell McNulty.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Jo-Ann Gizzi McNulty, whom he married on July 1, 1961; loving children, David J. (Mary Jo) McNulty, Jr., Michael (Debbie) McNulty, and Ronald (Maya) McNulty; grandchildren, David (Crystal) McNulty, III, Julie McNulty, Nicole DiMeo, Anthony (Katie) McNulty, Alana, and Eva McNulty; great-grandchildren, Mason, Morgan and Cole McNulty; siblings, Alice (Al) Corron; many nieces and nephews and cousins.
The McNulty family is grateful to Dr. Peter Rienzi, for his care, kindness, and compassion shown to our family.
Services will be held on Thursday, July 7th at 8 am from the Rossi & Ditoro Funeral Home, 501 Union Street, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9 am at St. Kateri Tekakwitha, Union Street. Interment will follow in St. John the Baptist Cemetery.
Relatives and friends are invited and may call on Wednesday from 4 to 7 pm at the Rossi & Ditoro Funeral Home.
