ROTTERDAM – Colin J. Robinson, 61, passed away on Thursday at Ellis Hospital. Colin now lives his life in eternal sunshine.
Colin was born and educated in Sidney, New South Wales, Australia on October 7, 1955, a son of Walter and Margaret Robinson. He served in the Australian Army as a Corporal from 1977 until 1983. The Aussie as he was so honorably called located to the United States, settling in Rexford, in 1994, living his dream. He established Aussie Carpet Cleaning, worked as an Union Carpenter and as a bartender at several various establishments and bars. He was a member of the Rotterdam Eagles. He lived a life full of passion, in many various ways; a simple ride on his motorcycle, enjoying a round of golf, attending Sunday morning church at Uncle Ben's; conversation and a love of animals, especially Jack. Colin was a man who understood your past, believed in your future and accepted you for who you were.
Colin is survived by the love of his life, AnnMarie Bradshaw Robinson, whom he married on May 31, 2013; his father and mother -in-law, Robert and Agnes Bradshaw; and brother-in-law, Richard Bradshaw. Second only to his family were his many close friends, comrades and mates.
Relatives and friends are invited to call at the Rossi & Ditoro Funeral Home on Monday, from 4 to 7 pm followed by a service.
