Clementina 'Tina' A. Caporale

SCHENECTADY – Clementina "Tina" A. Caporale, 88, entered peacefully into eternal rest on June 1, 2015.
Tina was born in Utica, NY, a daughter of the late Salvatore and Rose Stoppiello Arcuri. Tina graduated from Proctor High School and Plattsburg State Teachers College, where she met the love of her life, Joseph P. Caporale, Sr. The couple married on July 3, 1950, and moved to Schenectady, where she worked as a Home Economics Teacher for the City School District. She was a devoted communicant of St. Luke's Church and a member of the Altar Rosary Society. She enjoyed cooking, sewing and spending time with family at their camp in Boonville, NY.
Tina was a dedicated and loving soul. She cared for her parents as they aged as well as for her husband. A generous woman, Tina gave of her many talents to her family, friends and faith.
She was predeceased by her husband Joseph, on January 22, 2005, and her brother, Joseph Arcuri.
Tina is survived by her devoted children, Joseph P. Caporale, Jr., and his wife Kelly, of East Northport, NY; Carmel Rose (Caporale) Lochhead and her husband Andrew, of Haddonfield, NJ, and her twin grandchildren, Isabella Rose and Connor Joseph Lochhead. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank the many members of the medical community and caregivers who enabled Tina to live independently in her home for many years.
Relatives and friends are invited and may call at the Rossi & Ditoro Funeral Home on Thursday from 5 to 8 pm.
Services will be held on Friday morning at 8 am from the Rossi & Ditoro Funeral Home, 501 Union Street (at N. Jay) and then to St. Luke's Church, State Street, where a Mass will be celebrated at 9 am. Entombment will follow in Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery.
