Clara A. "Cioc" Grzelecka

ROTTERDAM – Clara A.”Cioc” Grzelecka, 100, entered peacefully into eternal rest on Wednesday, January 18, 2023.
Clara was born in Schenectady, the daughter of the late Ladislous and Mary Grzelecki. She graduated from the former Nott Terrace High School and began a long and dedicated career at the General Electric Company as a clerical officer worker. Clara was a woman of great faith and a devoted communicant of St. Adalbert’s Church. She traveled extensively throughout her life; collected elephants, many from her travels, with their trunks up; and enjoyed the one-arm bandits at the casinos
Clara was predeceased by her siblings, Matthew, Henry, Theodore, Chet, Stanley, Edward, and Irene; her nephew, Daniel Majkowski.
She is survived by her loving nephews, Martin (Josephine) Majkowski, Thomas (Audrey) Majkowski, Alan (Anne) Grzelecki, Gary Grzelecki, and Peter (Jane) Grzelecki; niece, Gayle Majkowski; several nieces and nephews.
Services, to which relatives and friends are invited to attend will be held on Saturday at 10 am at St. Adalbert’s Cemetery, with Fr. Matthew H. Frisoni, officiating.
