ROTTERDAM- Charlotte C. Ody, 63, entered into eternal peace on Wednesday at Ellis Hospital after a sudden illness.
Charlotte was born in Schenectady on September 7, 1949 a daughter of the late Charles and Christine Caracciolo Ody. She was an executive chef at Ody's Inn in The Hague and at Bella Italiano in Schenectady. She will be remembered as being loving and caring. She was a communicant of St. Gabriel's Church.
She is survived by her devoted daughter, Rose Bigelow and her husband Brett; a granddaughter Kylie Bigelow; loving brothers, Charles Ody, Jr., and his wife Bernadette, Richard Ody and his wife Heidi, David Ody and his wife Teresa and Robert Ody and his wife Patricia; many nieces nephews and dear friends.
Services will be held Monday at 9 am at the Rossi & Ditoro, Union at N. Jay Streets and then to St. Gabriel's Church, Hamburg Street where a Mass will be celebrated at 10 am. Interment will follow in St. John the Baptist Cemetery.
Relatives and friends are invited and may call at the Rossi & Ditoro Funeral Home on Sunday from 2 to 5 pm.
