Charles H. Tillman Jr.

SCHENECTADY – Charles H. Tillman, Jr., 66, passed away at Ellis Hospital on Saturday, January 7, 2023, after a brief illness.
Chuck was born in Schenectady, the son of the late Charles H. and Joan Payne Tillman, Sr. He graduated from Mont Pleasant High School and began work as a machinist at General Electric. Chuck was a jack and master of all trades; he worked as a mechanic; installer for Schenectady Floor Covering and was a self-employed master plumber. He had an outgoing personality and was a prankster. Chuck made many friends over his years and enjoyed the outdoors, fishing and camping.
In addition to his parents, Chuck was predeceased by a sister, Jo-Ann Dean.
Chuck is survived by his loving family; longtime companion, Annette Pino; twin daughters, Joann (Kristofer) Gigante and Christine Tillman and son, Michael (Dawn) Pino; grandchildren, Francesca Gigante, Charles Tillman, II, Erica Tillman, Aleeca and Deandra Pino; siblings, Patricia (Donnie) Randolph, Sandy Tillman, John (Vicky) Tillman, Robert (Sally) Tillman, and Terry Hutton; many grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited and may call at the Rossi & Ditoro Funeral Home on Friday, from 4-6 pm, followed by a service at 6 pm.
