Charles D. Myers, Sr.

ROTTERDAM– Charles D. Myers, Sr., 67, of Rotterdam, died Monday morning after a brief illness, surrounded by his loving children.
Chuck was born in Albany and raised in Guilderland. He worked for Schenectady Auto Body for 23 years, and was the owner operator of C&D Unlimited in Rotterdam and the Goosehill Bar & Grill.
Chuck was predeceased by his parents, Hazel Kruger Myers and Walter Myers, a son, Randy V. Myers in 2002 and his wife Betty Myers in 1979.
Survivors include his loving children, Tina Zielinski and her husband Ron of Scotia, Charles (Jane) Myers, Jr., of Charlotte, NC, Doug Myers and his wife Candace and Tami Van Buren, of Schenectady; former wives, Gere Brostrand and Sherry Myers; grandchildren, Ryan Horton, Jason Myers, Shane Myers, Annabelle Chrysler, Michael ‘Mikey’ Van Buren, Jr., and Leah Van Buren; son-in-law, Michael Van Buren, Sr., sister, Shirley Lockrow, of Mechanicville; an aunt, Arietta ’Peter’ Fountain and her husband Ronald, of Mariaville, a niece, nephew and several cousins.
The Myers family would like to thank Sherry Myers, Ellis Hospital and Stacey with Saratoga County Hospice, for their wonderful care and support.
Private graveside services will be held in Greenhill Cemetery, Amsterdam.
