Cecelia K Bianchi

SCHENECTADY – Cecelia K. Bianchi, 93, entered into eternal peace on Thursday, October 12, 2017.
Cecelia was born in Elizabeth, PA on August 15, 1924 a daughter of the late Vincent and Wladyslawa Kwiatkowski. Cecelia graduated from Draper High School in 1942. She began working during WWII at Mica Co and later as a secretary for Lou Golub, before retiring from the Army & Air Force Exchange Services in Albany. Cecil was lively spirited woman, devoted to her family and friends.
She was predeceased by her husbands, Roman "Whitey" Bianchi and Millard "Mel" Longo; sons, Daniel C. Bianchi and James C. Bianchi; siblings, John Kwiatkowski, Anna Akinburgh, Genevose Dworek, Mary Rios, Josephine Fendly, Joseph Kwiatkowski and Frances Kolacki.
Cecil is survived by her children, David C. Bianchi, of Rotterdam, and Anne C. Britton, of Brattleboro, VT; grandchildren, Daniel, Nicholas and David Bianchi and Gabriel Britton; her beloved and dedicated niece Annette Liwulanga, of Glenville; dear friends, Betty Greco and Edith Dankowski. Many nieces and nephews also survive.
Services will be held on Monday at 11 am at the Rossi & Ditoro Funeral Home, 501 Union St., with Rev. Susan Strang, officiating. Interment will follow in St. John the Baptist Cemetery.
Relatives and friends are invited to call at the Rossi & Ditoro Funeral Home on Sunday from 3 to 5 pm.
