SCHENECTADY – Carol Ann Roscioli DiPace, 82, entered peacefully into eternal rest on Sunday, December 28, 2025, surrounded by the love she so generously gave throughout her life.
Carol was born in Schenectady, the beloved daughter of the late Rocco and Elvira (Caschera) Roscioli. A lifelong resident of the community she cherished, she was a graduate of local schools and devoted her life to her family and others. She worked as the secretary for the family business, DiPace Masonry, and later found great joy in her role as a teacher’s assistant at Glen Worden Elementary School. Carol treasured her time with the children, which reflected her gentle spirit and nurturing heart.
Above all, Carol was an exceptional homemaker, a devoted wife, and a loving mother. She took great pride in caring for her family and creating a home filled with warmth, laughter, and love. She especially enjoyed cooking and gathering family and friends, particularly at her cherished getaway in Long Lake, where many treasured memories were made.
Carol will be remembered for her kindness, her generous heart, and her deep gratitude for all that God had given her.
She is survived by beloved husband whom she married on July 28, 1963 Bernard “Bud” DiPace; loving children, Michele (Glenn) Vadney and Bud (Maura) DiPace; the light of her life, her grandsons, Anthony DiPace and Jon (Breanna) DiPace; sister, Loretta Ricciardi; and nieces, nephews and many Goosehill Friends.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, December 31, 2025 at 11 am at St. Anthony’s Church, 331 Seward Place.
Relatives and friends are invited and may call prior to the Mass from 9-11am at St. Anthony’s Church.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Carol’s memory to St. Anthony’s Church.
