GLENVILLE – Carol E. Natalie, 84, passed away peacefully with her family at her side on Monday, February 19, 2024, at Saratoga Hospital.
Carol is the daughter of the late William and Eileen Campochiaro Varrone, Sr. Carol attended Franklin Elementary School, where she met the love of her life, Richard A. ‘Dick’ Natalie. They continued their courtship while attending Nott Terrace High School and married after graduation. They had a romance of a lifetime of over 65 years. Carol had a career outside of her home and worked as a Senior Examiner at MVP. Her family was the center of her life; she enjoyed cooking, baking, and hosting holidays and Sunday dinners. Carol was the matriarch and heart of her family, together they were one. After retirement, Carol and Dick relocated to New Port Richey, FL, enjoying the sunshine, and their Florida family. They returned home, after several years, to enjoy their growing family of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 65 years, Richard A. Natalie; loving children, Richard A. Natalie, II, Rod Natalie, and Lisa Montesano and her husband, (Carol’s favorite son-in-law), Mario Montesano, Jr.; seven grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; siblings, William (Deborah) Varrone, Jr., Edward (Deborah) Dopp and Robin (Robert) Natale; a very special niece, Janis Natalie; as well as many loving nieces and nephews.
Entombment will be held in Memory’s Garden.
