SCHENECTADY – Carol "Lolly" Consalvo, 84, entered the Kingdom of Heaven on Monday, December 18, 2017, after a brief illness.
Carol was born in Schenectady on January 16, 1933. She was a graduate of Nott Terrace High School and worked for Crest Lito Printing, retiring after 20 years of service.
Lolly was a kind, generous, strong and independent woman whose lifelong journey of faith, was evident in her daily life. She was a devote communicant of St. Anthony's Church, attending the 4 pm Mass weekly and volunteered at the annual feasta, where a radio could always be heard, blaring out one of "her Yankees"games. For many years, Carol faithfully committed her time to the residents at the Glendale Home, her friendly smile and kind presence was welcomed by all.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband of 52 years Robert "Bob" Consalvo on June 29, 2003 and her loving son, Robert A. Consalvo, on January 25, 2011.
Carol is survived by her loving and devoted son, Paul Consalvo, and his wife Lesley, of Rochester; her grandson, the apple of her eye, Robert Charles Consalvo; dear friends Camille and Dee many nieces, nephews and friends also survive.
Services will be held at 8:30 am on Friday, from the Rossi & Ditoro Funeral Home, 501 Union Street, then to St. Anthony's Church, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:30. Interment will follow in St. John the Baptist Cemetery.
Relatives and friends are invited and may call at the Rossi &Ditoro Funeral Home on Thursday from 3 to 5 pm.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Lolly's memory to St. Anthony's Church restoration fund.
