SCHENECTADY – Carmen M. Nater, 78, went home to the Lord on Friday, May 11, 2018, after a brief illness.
Carmen was born in San Juan, PR a daughter of the late Felipe and Angelina (Lopez) Nater.
Carmen was a kind, loving and devoted homemaker to her family.
She was predeceased by her sister, Alicia Quinonez.
Carmen is survived by her loving children Abigail, Eduardo, Luis, Carmen, Ruth, Abel, Hiram, Saul, Betzaida, and Priscila Melendez; siblings, Ana Nater, Samuel Quinonez, Daniel Quinonez, Felix, Carlos, Eugene, Ruthy, Aida and Pura Nater; thirty five grandchildren; forty three great-grandchildren; one great-great grandson; many nieces, nephews and friends.
Services will be held on Tuesday, at 10am at Iglesia Pentecostal Puerta De Bendicion, 1201Union Street. Interment will follow in Parkview Cemetery.
Relatives and friends are invited to call at Iglesia Pentecostal Puerta De Bendicion on Monday evening from 6 to 9 pm.
