Bruce W. Wade

Spring Hill, FL – Bruce W. Wade, 82, passed away peacefully after a long illness on March 30, 2025.
Bruce was born in Schenectady, the son of the late William and Catharine (Boyce) Wade. He was a graduate of Linton High School and proudly served his country for 4 years in the US NAVY. After being discharged from the Navy, Bruce dedicated his career to and retired from Bell Atlantic of Albany, NY.
After retiring, he proceeded to move to Florida to take full advantage of the warm weather. Bruce was an avid rider of Harley Davidson motorcycles, having ridden all around the US on his bikes. He passed on this passion of riding to his sons, then to his grandsons .He was a man of character—kind-hearted, dependable, and always ready with a quick joke. His presence was a source of strength and comfort, and his legacy of devotion will forever be cherished by those who were fortunate enough to know him.
Bruce was predeceased by wife, Deborah(Mintz) Wade and son, Eric F. Wade.
He leaves behind his son Nicholas Wade of Florida; grandsons, Cole Wade & Dillon Wade, both of Niskayuna. He is also survived by Sister in Laws Vicki (Hyannis, MA), Lori (Schenectady, NY) and Barbara (Ashfield, MA) and many nieces & nephews who will carry his memory forward.
A private memorial with Military Honors will be held at a later date, with Bruce being laid to rest at Vale Cemetery with his wife Debbie& son Eric.
The family of Bruce W. Wade would like to thank the staff at Sturgill Hospice House Brooksville, FL and his friends of Spring Hill, FL. Though he may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the countless lives he touched and in the fun memories that will be held close to the heart.
