Bruce M. Allen

Bruce M. Allen, 76, of Deerfield Beach, FL passed away on Feb 17, 2025. The son of the late Charles C. Allen and Ethel F. Allen, Bruce was born in Worcester, MA on April 11, 1948, and raised in Niskayuna, NY.

He graduated from New College of Florida in Sarasota, FL with a B.A. in Art and European History, after which he pursued his second degree from Excelsior University and graduated with a B.S. in Accounting.
Bruce was owner and operator of Allen Business Consultants starting in 1972 and became an Enrolled Agent in 1980, until he retired and moved to Deerfield Beach, FL to care for his mother during her final years. He was an active member of Mensa, the High IQ Society, for over 40 years.
He was also a jazz music enthusiast, trivia connoisseur, and proud girl dad.

He is survived by his two daughters, Abigail (Erin) and Marie (Jordan); his brother Gilbert (Irma); his step-sister Catherine Cohen (Eric); his step-brother James Adams (Janet);
his former spouse and co-parent Ellen; and his eight nephews.

Services will be held on Saturday, at 11 am, March 8, 2025 at the Rossi &; Ditoro Funeral Home, 501 Union St., with Fr. John Provost, officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Memorial Park, Colonie
Relatives and friends are invited to call at the Rossi & Ditoro Funeral Home on Friday, March 7 th from 4-6 PM
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Save the Children or UNICEF.
