Beverly A. Lavalley Rorick Fink

SCHENECTADY – Beverly A. LaValley Rorick Fink, 61, passed away at home on Tuesday, after a long courageous battle with pancreatic cancer, surrounded by her loving family.
Bev was born in Schenectady on December 17, 1959 a daughter of the late Robert and Beverly Putnam LaValley. She graduated from Mt. Pleasant High School, class of 1979 and began her career with Price Chopper Markets for 10 years before her 27 year tenure with Hannaford Market in Rotterdam, displaying her love of baking in the Bakery Department She retired at the onset of her illness. A kind, caring and generous woman, Bev was devoted to her family and cherished the time she spent with them. Bev was an avid bowler, and bowled at Boulevard Bowl and the former Mt. Pleasant Lanes.
She is survived by her beloved husband Ray Fink, whom she married on 9-10-11; loving sons, Rob (Melissa) Rorick, Todd (Jackie) Rorick; siblings, Kathy (Joe) Insero, Larry (Donna) LaValley and Jackie (Paul) Evans; adoring grandchildren, Kylie Fuentes and Abigail Rorick; several nieces and nephews.
Services will be held on Sunday at 3 pm at the Rossi & Ditoro Funeral, 501 Union Street. Relatives and friends are invited to call at the Rossi & Ditoro Funeral Home on Sunday from 12-3 pm.
