Bennie Izzo

SCHENECTADY- Bennie Izzo, 51, entered into eternal rest on Monday, September 4, 2017 at Ellis Hospital after being stricken, surrounded by his loving family.
Bennie was born in Schenectady and attended Mt Pleasant High School. He was a self employed roofer and the owner of Izzo's Roofing. He was a communicant of St. Luke's.
He is survived by his loving daughter, Amber Izzo and her companion Casey Brower; adoring grandchildren, Viviana, Gracie & Chance Brower; his parents Deanna & Bennie Izzo; his sisters, Lisa Izzo and Robin (Jerry) Knapp; lifelong friend Gail Laier; nieces and nephews, Stefano, Alexis, Rocco, Brittany, Tiffany and Zachary; nephew of Tony (Kitty) Izzo; John (Michele) Izzo; Helene DeMatteo; great nephew of Margaret Luppi; many cousins also survive.
Relatives and friends are invited to call at the Rossi & Ditoro Funeral Home, 501 Union St., on Thursday from 4 to 7 pm. A service will be held at 7 pm with Fr. Dominic Isopo, officiating.
