SCHENECTADY – Asiah Vincent Maxam, 20 month old toddler boy, entered safely into the arms of the Lord on Sunday, June 19, 2011 after being brutally and maliciously killed in his home.
Asiah was born on October 19, 2009 at Bellevue Maternity Hospital in Niskayuna, a son of James R. Maxam and Jamie Darrel. Asiah was a fun loving child, and loved to play and was just began speaking.
Survivors include his parents; loving sisters, Allegrina, Marriah and Phoenix Maxam; loving brothers, Isaiah, Jeremiah and Elijah Maxam; paternal grandmother, Eileen Black; maternal grandparents, Kimberly and John Darrel; maternal great-grandmother, Bek Darrel; aunts and uncles, Lisa Jones, Raina Van Schaick; Christopher Van Schaick and John Darrel; a cousin Savanna Stevenson; and great-aunts and uncles John and Terrie Brown and Joseph and Lisa Brown.
Services will be held Friday morning at 11 am at the Rossi & Ditoro Funeral, Union at N. Jay Street with the Rev. Elaiani Lane officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Memorial Park, Colonie.
Relatives and friends are invited and may call at the Rossi & Ditoro Funeral Home, Thursday evening from 5 to 8 pm.
