Antoinette A. Carboni

NISKAYUNA - Antoinette A. Carboni, 96, entered into eternal life on Sunday, February 4, 2018.
Antoinette was born in Schenectady a daughter of the late Angelo and Rose Gabriel Carboni. She was educated in Schenectady schools and a 1939 graduate of Schenectady Vocational High School. As a pioneer for women in her family and the workforce, Antoinette held various executive secretarial and administrative positions with the GE Company over her 40 year career. She was a lifelong communicant of St. Anthony's Church
She was predeceased by her parents Angelo and Rose Carboni; sisters, Mary and Emma Carboni; her brothers- in- law, Ricardo Benacquista and Nicholas Sorrentino.
Antoinette is survived by her devoted sisters, Amelia (Mimi) Carboni, Olga Carboni, Dorothy Sorrentino, all of Niskayuna and Roselyn Benacquista, of Guilderland; nephews, Ralph Sorrentino, Mark (Denise) Sorrentino, Gregory (Sherry) Sorrentino; Gary (Tiffany) Benacquista; nieces, Lisa (David) Dobkowski, Kathy (John) Kaminsky, Linda (Robert) Blake; many great nieces and great nephews, also survive.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, February 10, 2018 at 10am at St. Anthony's Church, 331 Seward Place. Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend.
Memorial contributions may be made in Antoinette's memory to St. Anthony's Restoration Fund or a charity of one's choice.
