Anthony Tony Pallotolo

October 2, 1923 — March 21, 2013

SCHENECTADY- Anthony "Tony" Pallotolo, 89, entered into eternal rest on Thursday.
Tony was born in Schenectady, a son of the late Carmen and Angelina Rainone Pallotolo. He worked as a crane operator for the former ALCO Products for 27 years and then with the General Electric Company for 18 years retiring in 1988. Tony had a passion for music, which began as a young boy. He played the harmonica and loved to sing. He graced family and friends, with his vocal talents on many of their special occasions in life. Tony was a faithful communicant of St. Anthony's Church.
He was predeceased by a son, Anthony J. Pallotolo, Jr.; a grandson, Mark Pallotolo, Jr., and his siblings, Rose Goodman, Jennie Monda, Virginia Monda, Susie DeBonis, Alice Pfaffenbach, Sam and James Pallotolo.
Left to mourn his memory is his beloved wife of 61 years, Olga Rotondi Pallotolo; loving children, Anna-Marie Paniccia and her husband Theodore, of Ballston Spa, Linda Pallotolo Varrone, of Rotterdam, Mark Pallotolo and his wife Lynn, of Niskayuna, Dennis Pallotolo and his wife Peg, of Halfmoon, Ronald Pallotolo and Richard Pallotolo, both of Niskayuna; a brother, Carmen Pallatolo and his wife Mary-Ann; 13 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
Services will be held on Tuesday morning at 8 am from the Rossi & Ditoro Funeral Home, Union at N. Jay Streets, and then to St. Anthony's Church, Seward Place, where a Mass will be celebrated at 9 am. Interment will follow in St. John the Baptist Cemetery.
Relatives and friends are invited and may call at the Rossi & Ditoro Funeral Home, Monday from 4 to 7pm.
