Anne Maiorano Demeo

SCHENECTADY – Anne Maiorano DeMeo, 101, entered into the Arms of the Lord on Sunday, January 13, 2019.
Anne was born in Schenectady a daughter of the late John and Theresa Danucci Maiorano. She attended local schools and was a graduate of Nott Terrace High School, class of 1936. She was employed as a Matron for the Schenectady City School System, retiring in 1982. Anne was a kind and loving woman, devoted to her family. She was a communicant of St. Anthony’s Church.
She was predeceased by her siblings, Ralph, Jimmy and Jerry Maiorano, Carrie Murrace, Jennie Lupi, Caroline Marocco and Rose Wood.
Anne is survived by her children, Alphonse “Al” DeMeo and Richard DeMeo and his wife Martha; grandchildren, Christine Richards and Cindy Wilkins; great-grandchildren, Chuck, Desiree, Allsion and Danny Richards, and Alexandra and Zachary Wilkins; several great-great grandchildren and her dear friend and caretaker, Lori Hanzen and her family.
Entombment was held in Most Holy Redeemer in the Holy Spirit Patio.
