Anna P. Lepri

ROTTERDAM - Anna Lepri, 90, died on December 20, 2017 after a short illness, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on August 4, 1927 to the late Angeline and Paul Lepri.
Anna was a graduate of Nott Terrace High School. She lived most of her life on Hattie Street in Schenectady and spent many winters at her former home in Port Orange, Florida. In 2014, she moved to live with family in Rotterdam, New York. For over 40 years, Anna worked as an executive secretary at the General Electric Company and was a member of the GE Women's Club. She was a life-long parishioner at Saint Anthony's Church, worked at their annual Festa, and volunteered at their school. Anna was an avid reader and was always absorbed in a novel. She loved to travel, especially to far-off places, she liked to bowl, and she enjoyed trips to casinos. Her favorite gifts to give or receive were scratch-off lottery tickets.
Anna was predeceased by her beloved sister Alexandria (Liz) Ferro and her brother-in-law Frank Ferro. She is survived by her nephew Paul (Margaret) Ferro. Nieces MaryEllen (Stuart) Kaufman and Nancyann (Harry) Buffardi. Great nephews Joseph (Megan) Ferro and Michael Buffardi. Great nieces Michelle (Robert) Buffardi, Angela (Todd) Sullivan and Christina (Michael) Tremante-Pelham. Great-great niece Maggie Anna Sullivan and great-great nephew Anthony Sullivan. Extended family Patricia Tremante, Alexandria Tremante, Patrick Tremante, Patricia Donovan, Michael and Traci Martino, and Analisa Martino. She is also mourned by many other family and friends who loved her as their "Aunt Anne".
The family would like to extend their gratitude and thanks to the entire staff at the Ellis Hospital McClellan Street Health Center, Mohawk rehabilitation wing, for their kindness and care.
Services will be held on Thursday at 9am from the Rossi & Ditoro Funeral Home, 501 Union Street and then to St. Anthony's Church, Seward Place, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be con-celebrated by her dear friend, Fr. Thomas Morrette at 10 am. Interment will follow in St. John the Baptist Cemetery, Brandywine Avenue.
Relatives and friends are invited to call at the Rossi & Ditoro Funeral Home on Wednesday from 4 to 7 pm.
In lieu of flowers, those wishing may make a memorial contribution to St Jude's Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude's Place Memphis, Tennessee 38105, or St. Anthony's Church, Restoration Fund, 331, Seward Place, Schenectady, NY 12305.
