GLENVILLE – Ann De Angelo Frese, 86, passed peacefully on Friday, September 7, 2018 at the Glendale Home, after a brief illness.
Ann was born in Schenectady on November 28, 1931 a daughter of the late Frances and Anna Marotta DeAngelo. She was a graduate of Nott Terrace High School and worked in the Dietary Department at St. Clare’s Hospital until her retirement. Ann’s family is blessed for all of the gifts she bestowed upon them, patience, kindness and most importantly the gift of a love. She was a past auxiliary-member of the Thomas Corners Fire Department and a communicant of St. Anthony’s Church.
Ann was predeceased by her beloved husband Fred Frese, Sr. whom she married on July 13, 1953, until his passing on April 18, 1999; and a brother-in-law, Stephen Honicki.
She is survived by her loving children, Fred (Mary) Frese, Jr., of Las Vegas, NV and Linda (Rick) Gross, of Glenville; adoring grandchildren, Lisa (Joshua) Algaze, William (Jaymee) Frese, Rick ( Heather) Gross, Jr., Fred (Christine) Frese, III, and Kristen (Dan) Cuttita; seven great-grandchildren, Emma Gross, Aiden and Carsen Algaze, Cole Baker, Connor Frese and Amelia and Landon Cuttita; her devoted sister and brother, Bernice Honicki and Fran (Nancy) DeAngleo; many nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.

Services will be held at 11am on Tuesday from the Rossi & Ditoro Funeral Home, 501 Union Street and then to St. Anthony’s Church, Seward Place, where a Mass will be celebrated at 12 noon. Interment will follow in Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery.
Relatives and friends are invited to call at the Rossi & Ditoro Funeral Home on Tuesday from 9 to 11am.
In lieu of flowers, those wishing may make a memorial contribution to St. Anthony’s Church Restoration Fund.
