SCHENECTADY – Angelo Coppola, 88, of Carrie St. entered peacefully into eternal rest, at home in the comfort of his loving family. He went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, February 8, 2026.
Angelo was the son of the late Pasquale and Mariangela Coppola and the husband of the late Titina Coppola for over 60 years.
Angelo was predeceased by his brother, Stefano Coppola and his brothers-in-law, Vincenzo DiCostanzo and Pietro DiMeo.
Angelo was born in Ruviano, province of Caserta, Italy. He immigrated to America in 1973 with his wife and three children. Angelo was a strong and hard worker; he would often say, “I fix, you watch.” He was a true Mr. Fixit man, and could fix just about anything. He was a farmer in Italy and here in America. Angelo was a great hunter, a tradition he passed onto his grandsons, Angelo and Dante.
Angelo is survived by his children; Pasquale (Jean-Marie) Coppola, Gino Coppola, Mariangela (Timothy); grandchildren, Angelo (Kay), Mariangela, Dante, and Martina; great-grandsons, Angelo and Leo; sisters, Teresa DiCostanzo and Carmela DiMeo; nieces, nephews and cousins.
