Angelina Farone Sanchirico

SCHENECTADY – Angelina Farone Sanchirico, 103, formerly of Lenox Road, entered peacefully into eternal rest on Friday night, surrounded by her loving family.
Angelina was born on February 12, 1910, in Schenectady, a daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Ann Aceto Farone. She attended the former Schenectady High School and for a period of time, Angelina worked at the General Electric Company. She was a homemaker, extremely devoted to her family. Angelina especially enjoyed preparing feasts for family gatherings. She was a communicant of St. Anthony's Church and a former member of the Sacred Heart League.
She was predeceased in 1975 by her beloved husband Andrew Sanchirico; her siblings, Anthony, Alfred, Herman and Carmela Farone.
She is survived by her devoted son Andrew Sanchirico and his wife Rose Greene, of Albany; loving grandson, David Sanchirico, of CT; cherished sister-in-law, Elsie Farone, of Schenectady; adoring nieces, Maryann Gold and her husband Bill, of Saratoga and Carol-Jo Dufort and her husband Duke, of Glenville; several cousins and great-nieces and nephews also survive
Services will be held on Tuesday at the Rossi & Ditoro Funeral Home at 10am, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial which will be celebrated at 11 am in St. Anthony's Church, Seward Place. Interment will follow, in St. John the Baptist Cemetery.
Relatives and friends are invited and may call at the Rossi & Ditoro Funeral Home, Tuesday morning from 9 to 10 am.
Memorial contributions may be made in Angelina's memory to a charity of one's choice.
