CLIFTON PARK – Angela M. Cafferillo, 58, passed away on Friday at Ellis Hospital, with her loving family at her side, after a very courageous battle with ovarian cancer.
Angela was born on June 22, 1954, a daughter of Theresa M. Pannone Cafferillo and the late Lawrence Cafferillo. She was a 1972 graduate of Linton High School. Angela attended Schenectady County Community College and began her long and distinguished career of 39 years working for the General Electric Company. With a desire to further her education, Angela attended the College of St. Rose, receiving her Bachelor's Degree and graduated magna cum laude in 1995 with her Masters Degree. She was the Leader of Heath Benefits and Program Projects for the General Electric Co.
Angela was predeceased by her father, Lawrence A. Cafferillo and a brother Dominick Cafferillo.
Survivors include her adoring mother, Theresa M. Cafferillo; loving sister and brother-in-law, Jo and John Musco, of Schenectady; a sister-in-law Sheila Cafferillo, of FL; nephews, William Musco, of Schenectady and Nicholas and Elaine Cafferillo, of VA; 7 great nieces and nephews, 2 aunts and several cousins also survive.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday at 12:30 pm at St. Anthony's Church, Seward Place. Interment will follow in St. John the Baptist Cemetery.
Relatives and friends are invited and may call at the Rossi & Ditoro Funeral Home, Union at N. Jay Streets, on Monday evening from 4 to7 pm.
