ROTTERDAM - Americo Ruzza, 57, entered peacefully into eternal rest at home on Friday, surrounded by his loving mother and family.
Americo was born on April 6, 1960 a son of Maria DiPalma Ruzza and the late Antonio Ruzza. He as a graduate of Draper and Bryant and Stratton College. He worked as a long haul truck driver and later as a bus driver for Greyhound and Trailways. He was a devoted son, and embraced life with his kindness and love. Americo was an avid sports enthusiast.
He was predeceased by his loving father Antonio Ruzza.
Americo is survived by beloved mother, Maria Ruzza; a loving uncle and aunt, Angelo DiPalma and Antonia DiPalma; many dear cousins and caring friends.
Services will be held on Monday at 11 am from the Rossi & Ditoro Funeral Home, 501 Union Street and then to St. Anthony's Church, where a Mass will be celebrated at 12 noon. Interment will follow in St. Anthony's Cemetery, Glenville.
Relatives and friends are invited and may call at the Rossi & Ditoro Funeral Home on Sunday from 2 to 5 pm.
