Scotia – Alfred J. “Pops” Natalie, 73, entered peacefully into eternal rest on Tuesday at Ellis Hospital, with his loving wife at his side.
Al, also affectingly know as “Babe” was born the youngest son of Alfred and Josephine DiGirolamo Natalie on February 17, 1945. He graduated from Scotia-Glenville High School and served in the US Army, stationed in Vietnam for 13 months. He was employed 28 years for the Plumber, Pipefitter Union, Local #105 and later as a funeral attendant with the Rossi & Ditoro Funeral Home. He was an Avid race car driver and loved motorcycles.
He is survived by his beloved wife Tina Mauceri Natalie, whom he married on July 7, 1998; loving children, Joseph Natalie and Kasha Mauceri-Grogan; great-granddaughter Airianna Grogan; godson Rod Natalie; faithful four legged buddy Gigi; two siblings; many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Relatives and friends are invited to call Thursday at the Rossi & Ditoro Funeral Home, 501 Union Street, from 5 to 7 pm.
