Vivian Ferraro Zingoni

SCHENECTADY – Vivian E. Zingoni, 90, entered into eternal rest on Friday at Ellis Hospital. Vivian was born in Schenectady a daughter of the late Joseph and Josephine Morino Ferraro. She graduated from Nott Terrace High School and started her career with the General Electric Company, wiring turbines. Vivian retired after 40 years of dedicated service. She and her family were faithful communicants of the former Immaculate Conception Church. Vivian was predeceased by her beloved husband of 65 years, in 2010, Joseph M. Zingoni. She is survived by her devoted sons, Joseph Zingoni and his wife JoAnne, of Warwick, RI and Richard A. Zingoni and his companion Holly Montone, of Princetown; loving grandchildren, Carissa Butler and Matthew Zingoni; and her great-grandchildren, Emily and Benjamin. The Zingoni family thanks with sincere gratitude the staff of S3 at Baptist Health and Rehabilitation Center, for the kind, loving and compassionate care of mom. Services will be held Wednesday morning at 9AM from the Rossi & Ditoro Funeral Home, Union at N. Jay Streets, then to St. Anthony's Church, Seward Place, where a Mass will be celebrated at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are invited and may call at the Rossi & Ditoro Funeral Home, Tuesday evening from 5 to 7 PM. Entombment will be in Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery Mausoleum, Niskayuna.
