SCHENECTADY – Marguerite Di Pietro, 79, formerly of Campbell Avenue, died Monday August 9, at Ellis Hospital. Marguerite was born and educated in Schenectady, a daughter of the late Oreste and Mary Salvione Di Pietro. She was a music enthusiast, an avid bowler and was a devoted communicant of the former Immaculate Conception Church. Survivors include her devoted sister Josephine Isopo and her husband Giuliano of Scotia; loving nieces and nephews, Patricia (Raymond) Isopo-Croteau, Rev. Dominic P. Isopo, Giuliano (Denise) Isopo, Jr., Jo-Ann (Peter) Davis, Vincent (Michelle) Isopo, Maria Isopo and Anthony (Tara) Isopo as well as several great nieces and great nephews. The Isopo family would like to thank the physicians and staff at Ellis Hospital, C-6 for their care and compassion. Services will held Thursday morning at 11 am from the Rossi & Ditoro Funeral Home, Union at N. Jay Streets, then to St. Luke’s Church, State St., where a Mass will be celebrated at 12 noon. Interment to follow in St. Anthony’s Cemetery, Glenville. Relatives and friends are invited and may call at the Rossi & Ditoro Funeral Home, Wednesday evening from 4 to 7 pm. Memorial contributions may be made in Marguerite’s memory to St. Luke’s Food Pantry, 1241 State Street, Schenectady, NY 12304.
